Friday Night With Friends

Hello dear friend!

Last night was my "Friday Night With Friends," and I am happy to report that I got a lot of stitching done on "Beatitudes," despite the fact that I had a rather long visit from the frog. It seems that I stitched the top vine's branch just one "X" too short, and as I didn't realize my error until I arrived at the corner set of leaves, having started from the bottom,  it threw off everything from there on up! I though for a crazy moment about just leaving it and not futzing with it, but then my left eye started twitching and rip-it I went...LOL

Luckily it didn't take long to amend my boo-boo, and then I was off, once again...

At the beginning of the night...

Somehow this fuzzy wad of froggin' doesn't look like much...

At the end of the night when I headed to bed...

I even started the little crown in the bottom left, which was quite appropriate as we watched "Victoria" on Masterpiece, as I stitched...

Not bad, all things considered!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit, and sharing in my Friday Night With Friends!
Hugs

That darned frog is at it again! Hopefully he leaves you alone for a long while. Your stitching is gorgeous! Too gorgeous to be ripped out :)

Boy, that Frog Prince sure gets around - lovely stitching, though.

Beatitudes is looking great.
You've gotten a lot done, despite the Frog visit.
That's a lot of words to stitch!

I'd much rather rip it that futz it. It's always far less frustrating in the long run!

I love your frog metaphors. :) Indeed you managed to make progress despite the mistake. Looking good!

Sorry about the nagging frog! Your stitching is lovely...

Pleased you found your mistake and could fix it with some frogging.

That reverse stitching always seems so time consuming, but it looks beautiful. I always say it is better to rip it out before you set it down as it is much easier to pick it back up again.

Lovely stitching cause letters are hard. I have a hard time ignoring certain errors but if I can work it out I will without the frog. THis will be a beautiful piece!
