My Second WIPocalypse Post Of 2018

Good Tuesday morning, dear friend!

Actually, I am late for the second posting, as it came and went on Sunday...but, alas, I was not feeling well and spent the past couple of days resting. Luckily whatever was "bugging" me seems to have passed. Enough about that, let's get to the real reason we are all here...

The first month of 2018 is almost over, and so it's time to let you in on my WIPocalypse progress, sine my last post.

Let's start by answering this month's question...What SAL’s are you participating in this year?

My 2018 SAL List...
  • WIPocalypse
  • TUSAL
  • Friday Night With Friends
  • LHN "Beatitudes" SAL
  • LHN "Farmhouse Series" SAL
If you are participating in the Olympic Stitching Challenge, what challenge are you accepting? Endurance Race

What are your goals? Stick to ONE piece for the Olympics, and see how far you can push that one piece toward finishing (for those one at a time stitchers, or anyone else who wants to do some serious focusing on a particular piece)...I have yet to choose which WIP it shall be, but I am leaning towards starting something new just for this challenge.

On to my progress report!

I have only focused on LHN "Beatitudes"

January 7, 2018...

January 29th...

I'm still enjoying this WIP so very much, and haven't put it down.  I am following along with the SAL gals, and I am stitching upon 32 Ct. Vintage Country Mocha linen with DMC and Classic Colorworks floss, as charted.

I have been busy working on my organization system, and can't wait to show you the end result...look for the post and some giveaways to come!

I did treat myself to one new toy, that I ordered ages ago and which finally arrived yesterday...The new DMC Color Card with real floss, and it even includes the new 35 colors!
Love, love, love!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Hugs

Karyn...glad you are feeling better. Your Beatitudes are looking great!
You will love the DMC floss color card--I use mine all the time but sadly will not have the newest colors! I wonder if they do an update card???

I'm glad to hear the bug was a quick one for you. Sure a lot of people get down for a long time from the sounds of it. Wow you made a TON of progress. Great job! Good luck with your SALs.

Wonderful progress on Beatitudes! I am planning to stitch the Farmhouse Series too. I can't wait until my LNS has the patterns!
