First TUSAL Of 2018

Good Wednesday morning, dear friend!

For all of you in the snow driven yonder, I hope that this post finds you warm, safe and cozy.

Today is the full moon, and thus it is time to for the first TUSAL post of the year, and though I have had a few visits from "Senior Frog," I'm happy to report that they were easily remedied and not anything worth spilling any tears over...

January TUSAL 2018

See those Wee Jar ORTs and fuzzes? They all came from LHN "Beatitudes," as that has been my focus of stitching since January 1st, and I still can't put it down! I am enjoying this WIP so much that I have decided to focus on this and nothing else, at least until I hear another project screaming at me.

Once I publish my post, the above ORTs will be added to the Big Jar where I will keep my year's total until December 31st, when I will put them outside for the birds, just like my Mom used to to do when we were children, so that they can make pretty nests in the spring...and they do!

Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by for a Totally Useless SAL.
Hugs

Nice pile of ORTs for the start of 2018! I think you should continue to stitch on the LHN piece until something screams louder especially since you are enjoying it so much.

Cheering you on from the frigid cold south. Wonderful tradition of sharing your orts with our feathered friends.

Can't wait to see more of Beatitudes.
I hope Senior Frog doesn't visit again!
We had a different bird appear her the last few days.
Maybe disoriented because of the weather and wind?
Anyway, I put out my dryer lint so that they could make a temporary nest if they need to.

Love the idea of putting the ORTS out for the birds to use for their nests, although as there is nowhere around me for the birds to nest I wouldn't see them again. I had a visit from Mr Frog last night and he kept coming back, hopefully he won't be putting in an appearance tonight.

Beautiful ORTs! I was going to empty mine and start over but I forgot when I got all caught up in those silly sheep and added a bunch to my jar. I guess I'll do a yearly jar this go-round!
