A Christmas Share...

Good Thursday morning, dear friend!

I am so glad that you stopped by for a visit at the old corner on this very odd winter day, where old man winter just can't make up his mind whether to rain or snow, and has sent us both with some gale force added for good fun...

But, I digress, as I wanted to share a bit of Christmas fun with you.

Christmas Eve began with a Teakettle tradition, which includes pizza delivery and "A Christmas Story"...

xmas eve tradition #pizza

Look at that baby!

The next day found Santa having come and gone, and with the jolly fellow, some mighty fine treats under the tree. The morning was spent giving and receiving, and look at what Little Brother painted for his Ma and Pa...

wow @almost_dunn painted this for us - its of a sunset at topanga canyon beach in california where @bzctmom & I met in '81 :)

Isn't that the most amazing piece of art you have ever seen?

Little Brother painted this beauty from a photo of the beach where Pa and I met, in California. I can't begin to imagine how much work and love went into such a special project. It will enjoy it's place of grandeur, hung proudly above the family room fireplace...amazing!

Every member of the clan found some yummy treats just waiting to be discovered inside their stocking...

#teagan always knows which stocking santa left for her #merrychristmas

Yummy!

And someone even stole another's treat...

cheeky girl stole one of leo's dingo #alphadogmuch

As Pa said..."Cheeky girl!"

We spent the day together, as a family, and it was just like old times when the Brothers were wee lads.

My only complaint was that I ate way too much! giggle!

A fun time was had by all!

I hope that your Christmas was spent with those that you hold most dear, and included sweet treats, loving gifts and a full tummy of your own!

Hugs

  3. Oh my!! What talent!! That's amazing.

Yes, my tummy is a bit fuller now than it was before the holidays. I'm working on reducing it just a bit but my hips like to hold on to every fat cell during the Winter.
