To Be Or Not To Be

I have been working diligently on my LHN Sampler Monthlies, and as I stitch I am realizing that this is one WIP that I most likely will not repeat, as I plan to use the same frame and just change out the month in a yearly rotation. I am considering what to do with the charts after I finish with them, and since you have given me such wonderful feed back on how much you love the designs, I have decided to hold a "giveaway," on my blog.

The only question I have is this, should I give them away, one set at a time at the end of each month, or wait and give them away at the end of the year as a complete set? Since it is you, dear friend, who will have a chance to win them I am asking what you think.

Please leave a comment on this post, and as a follower of my blog, tell me what you think would be best, then wait for me to poll and post your winning decision and when the time is right, enter to win!

Note that this is for the chart(s) only and not the floss.

Hugs

  1. I think it would be awesome for one lucky person to win the complete set.

Very generous of you to let your readers help decide!

  2. That's a hard choice, if you draw monthly more stand a chance but on the other hand more are wishing for each entry so I thing the one time is the way to go here. Maybe once the winner has finished they could do the same and offer it to fellow bloggers. Have fun with this decission. Either way it is beautiful.
    Be always in stitches.

  3. If you are taking 'votes' and OCD person like me would say the year but either way will be fun.

  4. Well I think it depends upon how often you want to host a giveaway. Also consider this... if you give it away as a set at the end of the year, you spread sunshine to one person. If you give one away each month, you spread sunshine to 12 people. Or are they being released two at a time every other month? I like them , but I haven't kept up on them. Shame on me! LOL

  5. I would love your charts. I have been thinking about doing a piece that I change for the seasons.

I would love a big giveaway at the end of the year.

    Have a blessed day.

  6. I think you can't go wrong either way! Of course, what a tremendous giveaway to give the whole set together! I might lean that way, but that's just me :)

  7. I think it would make a great year end giveaway! I noticed last year that many stitchy bloggers had incredibly huge giveaways in November and December.

    Good luck in your decision!

  9. I love these charts too, but it's a hard decision to make. It would be wonderful to have a full set, however, more people would have a chance to win a piece of the pie if it was done monthly. I'd persoanlly love to win the entire set, but on the other hand putting a smile on a persons face every month is worth much much more. Good Luck with your decision.

  12. I think the whole set would be great. I did that with my LK Halloween. I think I mailed it out to one person half and half.
But different winners would be great too, lol
    I am lots of help, aren't I ??!!

  14. Well, if you do one a month, the wealth would be shared. But either way is wonderful!

  15. I think giving them away as a set would be awesome - but either way is going to be fun. I know I would love to stitch the whole set but I cannot afford them at the moment. Have fun deciding.

The other way to go would be to hold the comp and the winner will receive the charts after you have stitched them and make it a PIF giveaway - then once the winner has stitched them they must pass them forward.

  16. I think give them all away as a complete set and that person does the same when they finish with it and so on.

  17. I like the idea of a complete set. I also like Jayne's idea of the set being given with the caveat that the recipient pay it forward when they're done with them.

  18. What a lovely thing to do. :0) The complete set would be good... & I like the PIF idea. But, then, it's your blog & your giveaway... so your choice. :0)
